Quality, Culture, Experience

Seventeen years in and still going strong — Dust Bowl Brewing Co. out of Turlock, CA is one of the most respected names in California craft beer, and they're heading to Tahoe Brewfest 2026 with a lineup that has something for everyone.
Who They Are
Founded in 2009, Dust Bowl has built a reputation on one thing above everything else: quality. From their year-round staples to their limited special releases, the care that goes into every beer hasn't wavered since day one. With four taprooms across California in Turlock, Livermore, Elk Grove, and Monterey, they've grown intoa. full-on craft beer destination — and now they're expanding even further with the launch of Dust Bowl Distillery and their first RTD canned cocktails.

What They're Pouring
Dust Bowl is coming to Tahoe Brewfest with a wide spread, so whether you're a lager lover or a big beer enthusiast, you'll find your pour:
Taco Truck Lager — A mainstay for a reason. Light, crisp, and ridiculously drinkable. This one's a crowd pleaser and a go-to after a long day on the mountain.
Dust Bowl IPA — A longtime favorite that showcases exactly why this brewery has stayed relevant for nearly two decades.
Therapist Imperial IPA — Don't let the smooth taste fool you. This one has a real following, and for good reason. It's sneaky strong, so pace yourself.
Strawberry Margarita Seltzer — A taproom favorite making its festival debut. Fun, refreshing, and a little unexpected.
Moonshine Canned Cocktails — Fresh to market and debuting at the fest. Brewfest goers will be among the first to get their hands on these, straight from the new Dust Bowl Distillery lineup.
What Makes Them Tick
Dust Bowl keeps a close eye on where the industry is heading, and they're not afraid to evolve. While plenty of craft breweries have struggled in recent years, Dust Bowl is proud to still be growing on the beer side while simultaneously launching an entirely new distillery venture. They're also making a case for a style they think gets slept on — craft light beer. Easy-drinking, well-made light beer deserves more respect, and Dust Bowl is happy to lead that charge.
What to Expect at Their Booth
Straightforward and genuine — great beer, great variety, and a team that genuinely wants you to leave a fan. They actually pour beers at festivals that you can go find at retail or in their taprooms, so if something catches your attention, you won't have to track down a rare release to get it again.
As for food pairings, they'll leave the kitchen to you — but if you happen to have hot wings nearby, grab a Therapist and thank us later.

Why Tahoe Brewfest
Dust Bowl has been coming to Tahoe Brewfest for a while now and they'll tell you straight up: it's always been one of their favorite fests. Great crowd, beautiful setting, and a chance to connect with beer fans who might not have a Dust Bowl taproom nearby. For a brewery built on making people feel welcomed, that kind of face-to-face connection matters.
See you at their booth on August 29th. 🍺
