Comunidad, Cultura, Cerveza

If you're looking for a brewery that brings more than just great beer to the table, look no further than Del Cielo Brewing Co. Based out of Martinez and Livermore, CA, this family-driven, culture-forward brewery is rooted in community, creativity, and cerveza — and they're bringing all of that energy to Tahoe Brewfest 2026.
Who They Are
Del Cielo isn't just a brewery — it's a movement. Their identity is deeply tied to Latino heritage, Bay Area roots, and a genuine commitment to representation in craft beer. Everything they do, from the ingredients they source to the collaborations they pursue, is about honoring culture and creating a space where people feel seen, welcomed, and celebrated.
Mi Casa Es Tu Casa isn't just a tagline. It's how they operate.
What They're Pouring at Tahoe Brewfest
Here's what you can expect to find in your glass at Brewfest:
Órale (Mexican Lager) — The flagship. The GABF Silver Medal winner. Crisp, refreshing, and endlessly drinkable, Órale is brewed with precision and respect for tradition. If you try one beer from Del Cielo, make it this one.
Nórale (Non-Alcoholic Mexican Style Brew) — A Silver Medal winner at the Best of Craft Beer Awards, this one proves you don't need alcohol to bring the flavor. A great option for designated drivers or anyone taking it easy.
Fresh Rotating IPAs — Expect their freshest West Coast and Hazy IPAs on rotation, plus limited Micheladas made with their house michelada mix.

The Story Behind the Beer
Del Cielo is currently inspired by new hops, purposeful brewing, and collaboration. A great example is Patria, their Hazy IPA brewed in partnership with Latino breweries nationwide — a beer that's as much about community as it is about craft.
They're also big believers in giving overlooked styles their moment. Right now, they're championing Amber and Dark Lagers — styles that get passed over because people assume "dark" means heavy. Spoiler: it doesn't. Done right, they're smooth, crisp, and incredibly drinkable.
What to Expect When You Visit Their Taproom
Good vibes from the jump. Music, people connecting, bold flavors, and thoughtful hospitality. Del Cielo runs a full kitchen at their taprooms serving Latin-flair dishes built to compliment their beer lineup, so if you've never paired a taco plate with an Órale Mexican Lager, you're missing out. They call it a match made in heaven, and honestly, it's hard to argue.
Why Tahoe Brewfest?
For Del Cielo, Tahoe Brewfest is about more than pouring beer at a festival. It's a chance to share their perspective, prepresent their culture, and spark conversations that go beyond the glass. Their beers aren't currently distributed in the Tahoe area, so this is a rare opportunity to try them outside of the Bay.

As they put it: "If someone walks away remembering not just the flavor, but the story and energy behind it, we did our job."
See you at their booth on August 29th. Órale. 🍺
