Some breweries chase trends. Parliament Brewing Company out of Rohnert Park, CA just chases freshness, and honestly, that's kept them plenty busy. This family-owned brewery is coming to the 2026 Tahoe Brewfest with a lineup built for hop heads and first-timers alike.

Who They Are

Parliament is run by the Bosch family, and everything about the place is personable by design. Fun fact: a group of owls is called a "parliament," which is exactly where the name comes from, fitting for a brewery built around bringing people together to talk, laugh, and share a beer. With a 150-seat patio and about 40 more seats inside, they've built a space where beer is really just the excuse to bring people together. They're best known for their hazy and West Coast IPAs, but their lineup stretches into German-style pilsners, fruited kettle sours, barrel-aged beers, and more, so there's a lot more going on than just hops.

What They're Pouring

Parliament is bringing a lineup built for variety, with more to be locked in closer to the event:

• Kaleidoscope Hazy IPA — Soft, juicy, and tropical. Their flagship, and the perfect gateway IPA for non-IPA drinkers, though it still hits every note hop heads are looking for.

• Birds in Paradise POG-Style Kettle Sour — Extremely refreshing for a hot summer day, and pairs especially well with something spicy.

What Makes Them Tick

Ask Parliament what makes them different, and the answer isn't about the beer first. As they put it: "We believe in making our employees happy first. If they come to work happy they will then make our guests happy. If our guests leave happy we in turn become happy. Then the cycle repeats." Right now, that same spirit of experimentation is showing up in one-off recipes exploring new ingredients and brewing methods, so the lineup is always evolving.

What to Expect at Their Booth

First-time visitors to Parliament's taproom can expect a beer board with up to sixteen options, a warm and knowledgeable staff, and a setup built around getting to know the people around you, not just the friends you came with. Their Tahoe Brewfest pours may include a special one-off release or two, but mostly they're here to give you a preview of what's always on tap back home.

Why Tahoe Brewfest

Tahoe Brewfest marks Parliament's first beer event east of Sacramento, and they're treating it as much as a getaway as a pour. They're hoping people walk away realizing just how much range Parliament has, from easy-drinking hazies to sours built for a hot day, with something for everyone in the lineup.
